　　Dessert是一種甜點(diǎn)，而the desert是指的是又熱又干的沙漠。

　　Accept & Except

　　Accept意思是接受或是同意某事物，而except則恰恰相反，指的是排除的意思。

　　前一個(gè)單詞是地點(diǎn)副詞而后者是物主代詞。例如Their house is over there.
