Bowling has been around as a very popular leisure activity for many decades.Whether professional or amateur,bowlers go to bowling alleys to bowl at their own paces.Nowadays,bowling alleys are not just for bowling;they have video games,pool tables,fast foods,and even bars.Over time,these alleys have been transformed into multi-purpose entertainment centers.

幾十年來，保齡球一直是一項熱門的休閑活動。不管是專業(yè)的還是業(yè)余的，打保齡球的人都可以依自己的程度與方式在保齡球館打保齡球。今日，保齡球館不只是可以打保齡球而已，他們還有電玩游戲，撞球桌，快餐，甚至酒吧。經(jīng)過了許多年的演變，這些場所已變成多功能的休閑娛樂中心了。

In order to beat the competitions,bowling alleys invented something called Cosmic Bowling.With the use of special lightings,it puts bowlers in an environment different from the norm.The lanes are lit with flashing lights,bowlers' clothes become illuminated,and glowing balls strike glowing pins.Also,sound systems play the latest pop music on the side,adding beats to the atmosphere.These effects give the game a different flavor,thus attracting those who would otherwise find bowling boring.

為了打敗競爭對手，保齡球發(fā)明了一種叫著“Cosmic Bowling”的玩法，它使用特別的燈具，讓打保齡球的人置身于志往常不同的環(huán)境中。球道旁有閃爍的燈，打球者的衣服會發(fā)亮，用發(fā)亮的球來擊倒發(fā)亮的瓶子。還有，音樂系統(tǒng)在一旁播放最新的流行音樂，添增了一些節(jié)奏。這些效果讓這個游戲有了不同的感受，這就吸引了那些會覺得保齡球枯燥無味的人們。

Despite its competitive nature,bowling can also be a great social event.It's not rare to see people inviting families and friends to have a party at a bowling center.Today,people of all ages can come together to bowl,because there is always something for everyone.
