President Obama says Sony made a mistake by canceling the release of a film marking the North Korea leader Kim Jong-un under a cyber attack on its computer systems. At the end of the news conference, Mr. Obama said he was sympathetic to Sony's dilemma but wished the corporation had spoken to him first rather than within intimidate. He said the US will respond proportionately.

A Turkish court has issued an arrest warrant for the exile clerical Fethullah Gulen who is seen as the political rival to president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The president has accused Mr. Gulen of trying to topple him. Mark Lowen reports from Istanbul.

The founder of the company that makes the printer Mike Chen said it was a challenge.
