考生在閱讀文章中,看到這些相關(guān)的內(nèi)容時,如數(shù)字,for example,引用一些專家的話等,就需要在寫作時仔細(xì)地分析作者是怎樣用這些數(shù)據(jù)去構(gòu)建文章的爭論的。
Evidence在寫作時改如何處理呢,首先要identify 它出現(xiàn)的位置,然后能夠去解釋說明在這里出現(xiàn)怎樣才能證明文章的主干內(nèi)容,這個是analysis得分非常關(guān)鍵的一點(diǎn)。從官方指南中給出的幾篇范文,我們發(fā)現(xiàn)對于analysis部分的評分規(guī)律基本如下:
1分:沒有指出evidence(或reason/stylistic)出現(xiàn)的位置;
2分:指出evidence(或reason/stylistic)出現(xiàn)的位置,但是沒有分析作用;
3分:指出evidence(或reason/stylistic)出現(xiàn)的位置,分析對于文章主干的作用;
4分:指出evidence(或reason/stylistic)出現(xiàn)的位置,深度分析其作用。

不難發(fā)現(xiàn),這兩個段落主要的內(nèi)容基本一致,但明顯第二篇范文在evidence的引用和解析方面要更加深刻些,本篇作文的考生用了“Summer is handling that power to the reader- the power to agree with him…”, “he uses the truth, backed by reliable sources, to infiltrate the readers’ independent mind.”。 相比之下第一篇文章對于evidence的論述明顯淺顯很多,考生只是引用,沒有深入分析對于作者構(gòu)建argument的作用。
總而言之,在新SAT寫作部分,考生在分析文章內(nèi)容時,需要能夠迅速辨認(rèn)出明確的論證方法,其中evidence最為明顯。在文章中一定要identify 文章中evidence等論證出現(xiàn)的位置,然后深刻分析這些evidence是怎樣佐證作者的觀點(diǎn)的。
