Captivating『使…著迷』a business audience doesn't come naturally to most business speakers. But they can learn to do it and have fun—with minimum stress and plenty of charisma『魔力』. Today I want to share you with my seven success tactics of business speech, which I get from my personal business speech-making experience.
大部分商務(wù)演講家并不是天生就擁有令聽(tīng)眾神魂顛倒的能力。但人們可以學(xué)會(huì)這種能力,使自己處于最小的壓力同時(shí)盡情展現(xiàn)個(gè)人非凡魅力中獲得樂(lè)趣。 今天我想與你們一同分享商務(wù)演說(shuō)的七種成功策略,這些都是我從我個(gè)人的商務(wù)演講經(jīng)驗(yàn)中總結(jié)出來(lái)的。
First, don't give a sales pitch, but do speak on your topic. Speak about interesting stuff to the audience even make them laugh, but give a great speech. If you sell burglar alarms, speak about home safety; if you sell copiers, speak about image and productivity. Get it?
首先,不要過(guò)于注重商品宣傳,但要緊扣主題。盡量說(shuō)些有趣的東西甚至使你的聽(tīng)眾發(fā)笑,這樣你就得做個(gè)出色的演講。如果你是賣防盜鈴的,你就談?wù)劶揖影踩珕?wèn)題。如果你是賣復(fù)印機(jī)的,你就多談些圖片和效率問(wèn)題。知道嗎?
Second, pick a great audience. There are groups and there are groups. Pick the best ones with the highest profile, most likely to have the bigwigs.
第二,選擇理想的聽(tīng)眾。從多個(gè)聽(tīng)眾群眾中挑選出你最佳的聽(tīng)眾——形象好,看起來(lái)都是大腕人物。
Third, give a handout. Even if just a few pages, a handout will help the audience follow along and it precludes you from having to memorize the talk. And it gives every member of the audience a way to contact you. Warning: Give out the handout when you start to use it never before you begin. If you give out the handout before you start your talk, people will read one thing while you're speaking about another, and (worse) you lose audience control and the impact of your message.
第三,派發(fā)講義。雖然僅是那么幾張紙,但它可以幫助聽(tīng)眾跟隨你的演講而且還可以使你避免把整個(gè)演講內(nèi)容背下來(lái)。此外,它還為你與你的聽(tīng)眾提供了交流的方式。但要注意,你得在開(kāi)始使用講義時(shí)才派發(fā)它,千萬(wàn)不能在你演講之前派發(fā)。如果你在開(kāi)始演講前派發(fā)了講義,聽(tīng)眾就會(huì)在你講一個(gè)內(nèi)容時(shí)看了另外的內(nèi)容,(更糟的是)你會(huì)失去對(duì)聽(tīng)眾的控制能力和影響。
Fourth, videotape『錄制』it. After the talk you can play the video at home and see how good you really are as opposed to how good you think you are.
第四,把演講過(guò)程錄下來(lái)。演講結(jié)束后,你可以在家看錄象帶,這樣你就能夠把你的實(shí)際表現(xiàn)同你預(yù)期評(píng)估進(jìn)行對(duì)比。
Fifth, ask for audience evaluations. Read about your impact, if any.

Sixth, give value, get leads. At the end of your talk, offer something for free in exchange for their card. The cards you get are leads.
第六,重視聽(tīng)眾反饋,提高演講實(shí)力。 在演講結(jié)束時(shí),免費(fèi)派發(fā)一些物品以換取聽(tīng)眾對(duì)你的意見(jiàn)卡。這些卡就是對(duì)你的指導(dǎo)。
The last one is hang around after the meeting. That's when you find out what your impact was and who your best prospects are.
