1.chill應該解釋為寒冷；寒心；寒意等比較讓人從心眼里感覺比較不溫暖。僅僅這個單詞是這么理解但是要是和別的單詞一組合那就不是這么讓人感覺寒心了。

例如，just與chill組合的意思可以理解為放輕松點，不著急！下面舉例說明：
Helen : Just chill out. We've got plenty of time.

海倫：放輕松，我們還有充足時間。
Trev: Just chill, brother! Hey Wei, time for another one.
崔佛：冷靜點，兄弟！嘿，小薇，再喝一杯吧。

2.Somebody left the water running ，在這個句子中有一個大家經(jīng)常見到的語法。那就是
sb. leave sth doing 可以理解為某人使某物處于xxx狀態(tài)。

Somebody left the water running就可以解釋為有人使水龍頭處于開著的狀態(tài)，那么也就是有人忘記了關(guān)水龍頭。
跟leave 有關(guān)的用法還有很多，例如：leave sb doing sth讓某人一直做某事，賓語與賓補之間是邏輯上的主動關(guān)系，表進行。
it is wrong of you to leave the machine running.
leave sth to be done留下某事要做，不定式表將來。
We hurriedly ended our meeting,leaving many problems to be settled.

3.Take it easy 和上面的just chill 意思很相似都表示從容；不急。但是take it easy 還可以理解為輕點，小心點。

A: Take it easy. Don’t work so hard.

（放輕松點兒！別干得那么辛苦。）

B: I can’t take it easy. This is due in the morning.

（不拼命不行，今天上午得全部干完。）

A: Kick back, make yourself at home.

（請放輕松，像在自己家里一樣。）

B: Thanks.

（謝謝。）

放松 relax:
You look tired and need relax. 你看起來很疲倦，您需要休息。
Will you please try to relax? 您能不能放輕松些？

放松 kick back:
I really need to kick back during the holiday season. 我假期時真的需要好好放松一下.
