[雙語]男子兩年求職未果 無奈上網(wǎng)拍賣自己

 

An unemployed salesman who is desperate to find work put himself up for sale on eBay on Monday.
英國《每日郵報(bào)》3月1日稱，一個丟了工作的銷售員求職無望，周一在易趣網(wǎng)上掛牌賣起了自己。

Determined David Wood, 45, has spent every day for the past two years writing up to 30 job applications and scanning newspapers and websites to find a job.
這名45歲的男子名為大衛(wèi)伍德，過去兩年里每天都要投出30封求職信，閱覽無數(shù)報(bào)紙和網(wǎng)站，只為找到1份工作。

But despite his efforts, David is still jobless and has had to ask his father for a loan to prevent him losing his home in Bristol.
然而徒有努力毫無收獲的他仍然是無業(yè)游民，還要借老爸的錢來保住自己在布里斯托爾的房子。

It was when he found himself contemplating suicide last month that he decided to place the advert "For Sale an Experienced Sales Representative" on eBay. The ad goes on that he comes with 25 years' of sales experience covering a wide product base.
上個月開始大衛(wèi)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己竟然開始考慮自殺，于是他橫下心來在易趣網(wǎng)上打了個廣告“出售一位有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的銷售代表”。廣告中稱他擁有25年的銷售經(jīng)驗(yàn)，涉及領(lǐng)域廣泛。

"It finally came to a head and I had nowhere else to turn. This is a last-ditch attempt to get an employer's attention," David said.
“緊要關(guān)頭我別無選擇。這也是我吸引雇主們所能做的最后一擊了，”大衛(wèi)說道。
