How are you，my friend?one man asked another.
你怎么樣，我的朋友?一個(gè)人對另一個(gè)問好。
As well as can be expected， came the reply.
和預(yù)計(jì)的差不多。他回答。
And how is the sun，do you think?
太陽怎么樣，你覺得?
I thought he looked rather feverish this morning.I'm afraidhe'll get too hot and destroy himself one day，if he goes on like this.
我覺得今天早上他看起來有點(diǎn)發(fā)燒。如果繼續(xù)下去，我擔(dān)心他有朝一日會(huì)太燙而毀了自己。
I know，it's very worrying.And what about the earth?It's only thirty years until the next fallingstar comes this way， and the earth was very nearly destroyed by the last one!
我知道，他確實(shí)令人擔(dān)心，地球怎么樣?只有30年下一個(gè)流星就會(huì)掉過來，而上次差點(diǎn)把地球都?xì)缌?
That's right.We know that the next falling star is almost certain to get too close to the sun，andcatch fire!And when the earth passes through that fire，it'll be destroyed immediately!
對，我們知道下一個(gè)掉下來的星星幾乎肯定會(huì)與太陽靠得太近而著火。地球從火中穿過就會(huì)立即被摧毀!
Only thirty years!That's not much to look forward to，is it?And the two men shook their headssadly. After several months on the island，I asked if I could visit the country underneath us.

They had ideas for building houses from the roof downwards，turning rocks into softmaterial，making rivers run uphill，and saving sunshine in bottles.

格列佛回家不久，就隨“冒險(xiǎn)號”再次出海，不幸又遇上風(fēng)暴，船被刮到布羅卜丁內(nèi)格(大人國)。格列佛被一位高達(dá)20米的農(nóng)民捉住。
