Hi, I`m Jessica and I want to share you a story.

大家好，我是Jessica，我想和大家分享一個(gè)故事。

See there`s a story if a major league ball player. And one day he visited inmates in the prison. One of the inmates asked him, “How do you become a professional ball player sir?”

有一個(gè)知名聯(lián)盟的棒球運(yùn)動(dòng)員。一天，他來(lái)到監(jiān)獄探望囚犯。一名囚犯問(wèn)他，“先生，你是如何成為棒球運(yùn)動(dòng)員的呢？”

To which he said, “you know I think it started when I was a boy, I would play baseball with my dad and he always said, You keep through the ball like that, you will end up in the major league one day.”“you keep swinging bat like that son, you will end up in the major league one day. ”And here I am , A professional ball player.

他回答說(shuō)，“我想那應(yīng)該是在我還是小孩的時(shí)候，我經(jīng)常和我的父親一起打球，他告訴我，你只要堅(jiān)持像這樣扔球，你終將會(huì)成為一名職業(yè)聯(lián)盟球員?！薄澳銏?jiān)持像我這樣揮桿，長(zhǎng)大后就會(huì)進(jìn)入職業(yè)聯(lián)盟?！彼袁F(xiàn)在的我就成為一個(gè)職業(yè)的棒球運(yùn)動(dòng)員。

The room become quite, and innate who asked the question said, “You know the same thing happened to me. ”

房間變得很安靜，被提問(wèn)的那個(gè)囚犯說(shuō)，“你知道嗎，同樣的問(wèn)題在我身上也發(fā)生過(guò)?！?/p>

“When I was a little boy , my father told me that I was good for nothing, and one day I would end up in prison. And here I am .”

“當(dāng)我還是和孩子的時(shí)候，我父親就告訴我，我一事無(wú)成，最終我會(huì)進(jìn)監(jiān)獄，所以我成了現(xiàn)在這個(gè)樣子?！?/p>

Sticks and stones can break bones, but words can break hearts and dreams. How many times have we said something that is mean and hurtful.

棍棒和石頭可以傷及筋骨，但是語(yǔ)言可以讓人心碎，摧毀夢(mèng)想。我們?cè)卸嗌俅握f(shuō)過(guò)一些刻薄的傷人的話語(yǔ)。

And we don`t even know, and how ,many dreams have we killed just by our words. The next time you wanna say something that is mean, remember, words matter!

我們自己都沒(méi)有意識(shí)到，我們又扼殺了多少夢(mèng)想，僅僅只是用我們的只眼片語(yǔ)，下次當(dāng)你想說(shuō)一些傷人的話時(shí)，請(qǐng)記住，說(shuō)話很重要！
