Listening and speaking are very important for beginners.

對初學者來說，聽和說十分重要。

Children in English- speaking countries first listen to others.

在那些說英語的國家里孩子們起初只是聽別人說話，

Then they try to imitate and speak.

然后開始試著模仿著說。

We can listen to English programs on the radio.

我們可以聽收音機里的英語節(jié)目，

You may just understand a few words.It doesn't matter.

可能你僅能聽懂很少的詞，但這無關(guān)緊要。

Just be relaxed and try to catch every word.

你要放松自己，盡量領(lǐng)會每一個詞。

Somebody may be a good listener. But he dare not speak.

He's afraid of making mistakes.

You know we sometimes make mistakes when we speak Chinese.

其實用不著害怕，我們說漢語的時候也可能出錯。

Don't be afraid. We must be brave.

If you really want to learn English well,

you must try to speak with anyone you meet who knows English.

就得敢于同任何人說話。

Whether you know him or not is not important.

只要他懂英語，你是否認識他并不重要。

When there's nobody to talk with, you can talk to yourself in English.

在沒有人交談的時候，你可以用英語同自己說話，

It's very interesting and also a good way to practice your spoken English.

這也是一個又好又有趣的辦法。

Remember,the more you speak the fewer mistakes you'll make.

記住，你說得越多，你出的錯就越少。

Reading and writing are more important for senior school students.

對高中生來說，閱讀和寫作更為重要。

First we must choose the books we're interested in.

首先，我們必須選擇感興趣的書籍，

A lot of reading will improve your language sense.

大量的閱讀會提高我們的語感。

This is the most important.

這是最重要的方面。

Keep writing English diaries.

堅持寫英語日記。

We can also write English articles.

我們還可以寫些英語文章，

You may even post them to English magazines.

并把它們寄給雜志社。

Don't be afraid of failure.

不要害怕失敗。

Failure is the mother of success.
