這真是一種惡毒的侮辱,隨便罵人該入地獄。該死的東西!比勒達(dá),你再對(duì)我說(shuō)一遍,來(lái)挑動(dòng)我的肝火吧,那我就...我就...不錯(cuò),我就把一只活山羊都連毛帶角吞下去。到外邊去,你這個(gè)講黑話的烏龜賊強(qiáng)盜的灰孫子。立刻給我滾出去!"

As he thundered out this he made a rush at Bildad,but with a marvellous oblique, sliding celerity, Bildad for that time eluded him.

他一邊破口大罵,一邊沖到比勒達(dá)跟前,但是,這時(shí),比勒達(dá)卻出奇的神速,身子一閃,避開(kāi)了他。

Alarmed at this terrible outburst between the two principal and responsible owners of the ship,and feeling half a mind to give up all idea of sailing in a vessel so questionably owned andtemporarily commanded, I stepped aside from the door to give egress to Bildad, who, I madeno doubt, was all eagerness to vanish from before the awakened wrath of Peleg. He seemed quite used to impenitent Peleg and his ways.As for Peleg, after letting off his rage as he had, there seemed no more left in him, and he, too,sat down like a lamb, though he twitched a little as if still nervously agitated. "Whew!" hewhistled at last-"the squall's gone off to leeward, I think. Bildad, thou used to be good atsharpening a lance, mend that pen, will ye. My jack-knife here needs the grindstone. That'she; thank ye, Bildad. Now then, my young man, Ishmael's thy name, didn't ye say? Well then,down ye go here, Ishmael, for the three hundredth lay."

這兩個(gè)負(fù)有主要和重大責(zé)任的船東這樣駭人的吵架可把我嚇呆了,我頗想打消一切的念頭,不上這么一艘船權(quán)頗有疑問(wèn)又是暫時(shí)給代管著的船只,我打門(mén)邊一閃,讓路給比勒達(dá)逃出去,因?yàn)檫@家伙,毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)地,一定急于要避開(kāi)法勒的盛怒?？墒?使我詫異的是,他竟又十分泰然地坐到橫木上去,看來(lái)毫無(wú)退卻的意圖。他似乎已經(jīng)看慣了這個(gè)不知悔悟的法勒和他那副脾氣了。至于法勒,脾氣發(fā)過(guò)后,也好象是太平無(wú)事了,他也坐了下來(lái),象一只綿羊似的,雖然他還微顯抽攣,宛似精神仍很激動(dòng)。"呸!"他最后啐了一下說(shuō)..."風(fēng)暴已經(jīng)消失了吧,我想。比勒達(dá),你磨魚(yú)槍一向很在行,給我修修這支筆吧。我的小刀得上磨石啦,喏,謝謝你,比勒達(dá)。那么,小伙子,剛才你不是說(shuō)你叫以實(shí)瑪利么?好吧,這就給你寫(xiě)下來(lái)啦,以實(shí)瑪利,三百分之一的拆賬。"
