There is a sound of a man shifting in his seat. A minute passes. 0121:13. Captain: Eh... really... sleepy. First Officer: Of course.

這時(shí)有個(gè)人挪了下椅子,一分鐘過去了。1點(diǎn)21分13秒,機(jī)長:啊,真的……很困……(無法辨別的詞)第一副駕:當(dāng)然。

Then comes one of the most critical moments in the flight. The first officer decides to speak up:

然后進(jìn)入最關(guān)鍵時(shí)刻,副駕決定講出來。

First officer: Don't you think it rains more in this area, hear?

The first officer must have thought long and hard before making that comment.He was not flying in the easy collegiality of Suren Ratwatte's cockpit.

Among Korean Air crews, the expectation on layovers was that the junior officers would attend to the captain to the point of making him dinner or purchasing him gifts.

Despite good visual conditions, crew did not look out and see that current heading would not bring them to the airfield."

除了(良好的)可視條件,機(jī)組人員都沒有向外觀看,并且沒有注意到目前的飛行方向不能把他們帶到機(jī)場去。

Finally, the plane's radar picks up the mistake, and then comes the key sentence:" Captain hit first officer with the back of his hand from making the error."

最后飛機(jī)的雷達(dá)系統(tǒng)提示了這個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。然后是最關(guān)鍵的一句:因?yàn)檫@個(gè)失誤,機(jī)長用手背打了副駕。

When the three pilots all met that evening at Kimpo with their preflight preparation, the first officer and the engineer would have bowed to the captain.

那天晚上,當(dāng)他們?nèi)藶轱w行計(jì)劃做預(yù)先準(zhǔn)備的時(shí)候,副駕和工程師都向機(jī)長鞠躬。

They would all have then shaken hands."It is first time to meet you," the copilot might have said respectfully.
