有大麻煩的盜賊
A burglar has just made it into the house he's intending ransacking. He shines his flashlightaround, looking for valuables.
一個賊剛闖入一所房子準(zhǔn)備行竊。他打手電，四處找尋值錢的東西。
All of a sudden, a little voice pipes up, "I can see you, and so can Jesus!"
突然，一個微弱的聲音尖聲響起：“我能看到你，‘耶穌’也能看到你!”
He nearly jumpes out of his skin, clicks his flashlight out. When he hears nothing more after abit, the burglar clicks the light back on and looks around the room. No one there at all, so hegoes back to his business.
賊大吃一驚，啪地關(guān)上手電。過了一會兒，他沒再聽到聲音，就又打開手電四下看看。沒有人，他又開始偷東西。
"I can see you, and so can Jesus!"
“我能看到你，‘耶穌’也能看到你!”
The burglar jumps again, he shines his light around frantically, looking for the source of thevoice. Over in the corner by the window, almost obscured by curtains, is a cage in which sits aparrot, who pipes up again, "I can see you, and so can Jesus!"
賊又嚇了一跳，他用手電四處亂照，想找到聲音的來源。終于在窗角幾乎被窗簾遮住的地方他看到一個籠子。籠子里有一只鸚鵡，又說道：“我能看到你，‘耶穌’也能看到你!”
"So what," the burglar relaxes, "you're only a parrot!"
“那又怎么樣，”賊松了一口氣，“你只是一只鸚鵡!”
To which the parrot replies, "I'm just trying to warn you."
鸚鵡答道：“我只是想要警告你。”
The burglar says, "Warn me, huh? Who in the world do you think you are? You're only aparrot!"
賦說：“警告我?你到底以為你是誰?你只是一只鸚鵡而已!”
"Maybe, but Jesus is a rottweiler!"
“也許我只是一只鸚鵡，不過‘耶酥’可是一只大獵犬哦!”
