I’m positive she’ll show up for class soon.’ After these words, the class calm down a little.

鈴響了，該上英語課了，但是老師還沒來。教室里一片騷亂。有些學(xué)生有點(diǎn)擔(dān)心他們的英語老師。她到現(xiàn)在還沒來上課。有些學(xué)生并不擔(dān)心，因?yàn)樗麄冇X得她一定是遇上交通阻塞了。其他人認(rèn)為她可能被急事耽擱了。但是他們都不肯定。班長(zhǎng)說：“現(xiàn)在，不要妄下定論。我肯定她很快會(huì)來上課的。”班長(zhǎng)說了這些話之后，教室里安靜了一點(diǎn)。
