托福聽力重聽題：聽懂“言外之意”

　　從ETS官方對重聽題的設(shè)置來看：重聽題，往往在問speaker某句話的言外之意，這一點(diǎn)也是重聽題的難度所在，不僅要聽懂那句話，還要理解語境，所以正確選項(xiàng)為accurately describes the speaker’s real meaning, purpose, or position。

　　常見的提問方式有：

　　Whydoes the professor mention this…?(功能)

　　Whatdoes the student/professor imply when she/he says this…?(推斷)

　　Whatdoes the man/woman mean when she/he says this…?(態(tài)度)

　　我們可以得出，重聽題考查考生：

　　1.考生從文章整體去揣測某句話的潛在原因

　　2.考生應(yīng)理解某一句話的功能

　　3.考生需要理解某句話所暗示的內(nèi)容

　　4.通過speaker的語氣和語境去揣測其真實(shí)含義

　　5.考生需要理解speaker對于某個議題的立場

　　分析完題目設(shè)置，讓我們來看一下錯誤選項(xiàng)的特點(diǎn)：

　　(重聽內(nèi)容)It goes without saying，單從字面上理解，很多學(xué)生的第一反應(yīng)是“它一句話都沒說就走了。。。”答案驚人，目瞪口呆，但是通過上下文我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)，這里professor的意思是接下來要講的內(nèi)容已經(jīng)很明顯了，不需要再解釋了。

　　綜上所述，要做對重聽題，不僅要聽懂句子，也要結(jié)合上下文理解。
