10. 經(jīng)濟(jì)與環(huán)境

China's economy has enjoyed rapid progress in the last decade and has become the second largest economy in the world. It has made great contributions for promoting the development of the world's multi-polarization. At the same time China has paid a huge price for rapid economic growth, and problems like increasing energy consumption, environmental pollution and ecological deterioration are becoming more and more serious. Automobile is one of the main sources of air pollution, energy consumption and carbon emission. The government has taken countermeasures in some cities, in order to improve the existing condition of rapid expansion of private cars in urban areas, traffic congestion and deterioration of air quality .

近十年來(lái)，中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)突飛猛進(jìn)，成為世界第二大經(jīng)濟(jì)體。中國(guó)為促進(jìn)世界多極化（multi-polarization）發(fā)展做出了巨大貢獻(xiàn)。同時(shí)中國(guó)也為經(jīng)濟(jì)的高速增長(zhǎng)付出了巨大代價(jià)，能源大量消耗、環(huán)境污染和生態(tài)惡化（ecological deterioration）問(wèn)題日益突出。汽車是空氣污染、能源消耗（energy consumption）和碳排放（carbon emission）的主要來(lái)源之一。政府已經(jīng)在部分城市出臺(tái)了一些應(yīng)對(duì)措施，以求改善城市私家車膨脹過(guò)快、交通擁堵和空氣質(zhì)量惡化的現(xiàn)狀。
