聊一聊紅場(chǎng)的歷史，它的名字的起源于什么

 
A: Dr Prince, how are you enjoying it so far?

B: Well, I must say it's very exciting to be in Russia.

哦，我得說(shuō)俄羅斯真令人興奮。
 
A: I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. Today, Red Square and the Krenllin.

B: Wonderful! I can see the Kremlin over diere, on the left. And across there is the historic merchant quarter, known as "kitai  Gorod".

太好了！我能看到那邊的克里姆林官，在左側(cè)。穿過(guò)去是歷史上著名的商業(yè)區(qū)．就是大家熟知的“中國(guó)城”。
 
A: The square separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currendy the official residence of the President of Russia, from kirai Gorod

紅場(chǎng)把克里姆林宮和“中國(guó)城”分隔開。前者是以前王室的城堡，現(xiàn)在是俄羅斯總統(tǒng)的官邸。
 
B: I think the reason that most people say this is the centre of Moscow. even Russia, is because all the major streets go from here out to the highways.

我想大多數(shù)人說(shuō)這里是莫斯科乃至俄羅斯的中心，其原因是所有的主要街道都是在此交匯，通向高速公路。
 
A: Yes, that's true. Do you know the history of the square, its name for example?

是的，就是這樣。你知道這個(gè)廣場(chǎng)的歷史嗎？比如說(shuō)它的名字？
 
B: The name Red Square derives from the Russian word "krasnaya" which means "red".

紅場(chǎng)的名字源于俄語(yǔ)單詞krasnaya．意思是“紅色”。
 
A: Spot on! Also, it was first known as the centre many years ago, in the 1400s. The land that the Red Square is situated on was origjnally covered with wooden buildings, which were dangerously susceptible to fires.

完全正確！此外，很多年以前，大約在15地紀(jì)，最早小名是因?yàn)樗鞘薪硇摹Ｋ诘牡胤皆瓉?lái)到處是木結(jié)構(gòu)樓房．非常危險(xiǎn)，容易引起火災(zāi)。
 
B: I see.  So, it gradually came to serve as Moscow's primary marketplace. I know that it had other functions too, such as being used for various public ceremonies and occasionally as the coronation site for Russia's tsars.

B: The Kremlin is a national sanctuary and a unique crearion of world culture. It stands on the left bank of the Moscow River, where it joins the Neglinnaya River.

A: Yes. over there as you said.  It used to be built of wood, but again suffered from many Tainitsky Tower.

B: So, from then on they used it in the defense of the state. And now, of course it too is made of red brick.

A: Today,as in the old day, the square is always full of people. Numerous groups of tourists from different cities in Russia and oveneas come to admire the beauty of these architectural masterpieces.
