影響你一生的電影：小老鼠，大明星

　　現(xiàn)實生活與銀屏上的老鼠形象一直充滿矛盾。在現(xiàn)實生活中，這種嚙齒動物因為偷油吃米、傳播疾病而落得"過街老鼠人人喊打"的境地。但一旦離開現(xiàn)實世界，走上銀屏，它仿佛脫胎換骨了一般，變得機智、靈敏，敢于和人叫板，成為人類家庭的成員，甚至廚藝非凡為人類掌起了大勺......下面我們就一起來認識一下幾位銀屏上的鼠明星。

　　Wilbur: It's an egg sac. And it's right up there, and it has her children in it. And I can't just leave it here. What if something happened to them? Now, I can't reach it, so I need you to get it for me. And I need you to do it now.

　　Templeton: I don't think I like your tone.

　　Wilbur: Can't you just once in your life think of someone other than yourself?

　　[工人開始搬動豬欄，嘴里在說"A little further. Keep coming. "。]

　　Templeton: Once? Once?

　　Wilbur: Come on.

亂世成就的鼠明星

　　故事梗概

　　Roddy是一只身居豪宅、過著舒適生活的寵物鼠。從下水道鉆進來的家鼠Sid打破了Roddy安逸的生活，并"幫助"Roddy來到了下水道盡頭的地下王國。這里可謂老鼠的天堂，繁華熱鬧。但Roddy對此毫不留戀，只想重返家園。他向小母鼠Rita求助，不料Rita得罪了地下王國的癩蛤蟆Tod，自身難保。二人在Tod的一路追殺中，返回了豪宅。Rita還在無意中搶走了Tod的電源線，使得Tod毀滅鼠城的陰謀功虧一簣。但Rita發(fā)現(xiàn)Roddy的虛偽，傷心離去，落入了Tod的魔掌，鼠國一場浩劫將至。而Roddy在經(jīng)歷了一連串的冒險之后，已經(jīng)喜歡上了地下王國和勇敢機智的Rita，決意放棄豪宅的生活，重返鼠城。他不僅及時拯救了整個鼠城，也重新贏回了Rita的芳心。

　　第一次被"flushed away"

　　[Sid闖入豪宅，原本沒有趕走Roddy的想法。但小心眼的Roddy擔心Sid的到來會奪走自己的一切，于是編造出所謂的"旋轉(zhuǎn)式水流按摩"，想把Sid引到馬桶中沖走。沒想到Sid識破了他的陰謀，將計就計，反倒把Roddy沖下了下水道。Roddy的雞腸小肚由此可見一斑。]

　　Roddy: But before breakfast is served ... er, perhaps sir would care to take a whirl (旋轉(zhuǎn)，此處指"按摩") in the Jacuzzi (一種水流按摩浴缸).

　　Sid: A Jacuzzi?

　　Roddy: Well, after a hard day navigating sewer (下水道) pipes, there's nothing better than relaxing in a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath.

　　Sid: That looks so inviting.

　　Roddy: Yes! Yes! The whirlpool looks perfect! Now you hop in, and I'll press this lever to get the bubbles going.

　　Sid: Right. In we go! [裝作要跳的樣子] Oh, wait, wait, wait. I know we got off on the wrong foot〔2〕 before, but you know I really think we're gonna get along, don't you? Be seeing you, my friend. [Sid突然出手，把Roddy推進了馬桶] You plonker (傻瓜)! You think I don't know a toilet when I see one? You were gonna flush me down the loo (廁所).

　　Roddy: No! No! No! It's a big Jacuzzi! Deluxe (豪華的) model!

　　Sid: Then you won't mind if I get the bubbles going, will you?

　　Roddy: No! Not the lever! Have mercy! No, I can't swim!

　　Sid: Bon voyage〔3〕, me old cream cracker〔4〕! Hold your nose!

　　Roddy: You can't do this! You can't do this!

　　Sid: You were gonna try to flush me. Let's see how you like it.

　　[Sid拉下了馬桶的沖水手柄。]

　　Roddy: Oh, no, I can't swim! I can't swim! I can't ... swim.

　　第二次被"flushed away"

　　[Roddy決心重回鼠國，拯救整個鼠國，救回Rita。]

　　Sid: Please don't flush me, Roddy! I can't survive down there! I've gone soft!

　　Roddy: Sid, I want you to flush me. I'm going back.

　　Sid: I'll be as good as gold to her, Roddy. And I will be the best pet ever!

　　鼠性難移也罷，成為鼠國的一代功臣也罷，都只不過是在鼠的世界里有所作為。機智可愛的鼠精靈Jerry雖說在Tom&Jerry中狠狠把自己的老對頭Tom貓涮了N把，成了鼠界不起的"斗貓士"。但若要和下面的這位無名氏鼠星相比，Jerry還是要略遜一籌，因為這位鼠明星是在和把貓和鼠當寵物養(yǎng)的人叫板。

沉默睿智的鼠明星

　　《捕鼠記》講述的是Ernie和Lars這對親兄弟和一只小耗子的故事。兄弟倆分離多年，直到老父親去世才再次相聚。開餐廳的哥哥Ernie主張賣掉父親留下的線廠，但弟弟Lars卻堅持不肯。二人相持不下，賣廠一事暫被擱下。不久， Ernie意外破產(chǎn)，Lars則因不肯賣掉線廠，被妻子從家趕了出來。兄弟倆無處可去，只得來到父親留下的一座老房子過夜。沒想到，一只神通廣大的小耗子早已捷足先登，成為了這里的主人。兄弟倆夜半打鼠，意外發(fā)現(xiàn)老房子竟是建筑大師的傳世之作，價值上百萬。二人決定將這棟岌岌可危的老房子修整一新，高價賣出。而小耗子面對家園被毀，奮起反抗。一場人鼠大戰(zhàn)就此爆發(fā)。二人使盡渾身解數(shù)，可還是敗下陣來，老房子最終轟然倒地，兄弟倆的黃金夢徹底破滅。不過，小耗子不僅聰明而且善良，給倆人指了一條生財之道--舊線廠搖身一變成為奶酪線團加工廠。兄弟二人和好如初，人鼠"握手言和"。

　　Caesar: What's that? Horse? Fiendish (惡魔似的)! I won't eat it. Ah!

　　[Caesar上下牙直哆嗦，嘴里還發(fā)出像耗子叫一樣的聲音。]

　　Ernie: How'd you find him? Where was he?

　　911 Staff: 911 call. No voice. We could hear screaming in the background. He was locked in a trunk in the attic. We'll call you if we get any leads〔5〕.

　　[救護人員走后，Ernie和Lars走進一片狼藉的老房子。Ernie看到地上有個錄音機，于是撿起來，倒帶然后播放。]

　　Lars: What's that?

　　[錄音機中傳來腳步聲，開門聲。接著是Caesar的說話聲。]

尋找歸宿的鼠明星

　　George Little滿懷期待地等父母從孤兒院給自己領養(yǎng)一個弟弟來，結(jié)果等來的卻是一只名叫 Stuart的小白鼠。盡管它可愛、聰明、熱情、勇敢，深得George父母的歡心，但George卻無法接納這么一個弟弟，家貓Snowbell也難以容忍一只老鼠做自己的主人。但Stuart毫不氣餒，努力學習，主動付出愛心而不求回報，終于贏得了George的認可。而這卻使Snowbell更加難以忍受，它甚至勾結(jié)野貓，趕走了Stuart。但最終，Stuart用自己的實際行動感動了宿敵Snowbell。Stuart自己在尋找家庭和歸屬感的過程中，也終于理解了家庭、忠誠和友誼的真正含義，最終真正融入了人類的家庭。

　　Stuart: Wow! She is beautiful.

　　George: I'm too littIe for a race like that.

　　《料理鼠王》（也譯為《小鼠大廚》或《美食總動員》）講述了一只名叫Remy的小老鼠成為法國頂級大廚的故事。Remy生來有著異常靈敏的嗅覺，一直夢想成為自己的偶像--法國名廚Gusteau那樣的偉大廚師。盡管廚房永遠不歡迎老鼠的事實擺在那里，盡管父母堅決反對，Remy卻依然堅信偶像Gusteau的至理名言："Everyone can cook"，想盡一切辦法體驗烹調(diào)的樂趣。命運真的把它帶到了Gusteau生前掌勺的五星級法國餐廳，Remy在此不僅結(jié)識了毫無廚藝天賦的學徒Linguini，幫他度過了一個又一個難關，而且最后還實現(xiàn)了自己的夢想，成為五星級大餐廳真正的大廚，為人類烹調(diào)出一道道精致美味的大餐。

　　Emile: Whoa, you can smell all that? You have a gift.

　　Dad: Now, don't you feel better, Remy? You've helped a noble cause.

　　Remy: Noble? We're thieves, Dad. And what we're stealing is, let's face it, garbage.

　　Dad: It isn't stealing if no one wants it.

　　Remy: If no one wants it, why are we stealing it?

　　[Remy和父親爭辯著。]

　　Remy: Let's just say we have different points of view. This much I knew: If you are what you eat〔7〕, then I only want to eat the good stuff. But to my dad....

　　Dad: Food is fuel. You get picky about what you put in the tank. Your engine is gonna die. Now shut up and eat your garbage.

　　Remy: Look, if we're going to be thieves, why not steal the good stuff in the kitchen, where nothing is poisoned?

　　Dad: First of all, we are not thieves. Secondly, stay out of the kitchen and away from the humans. It's dangerous.

　　Remy: I know I'm supposed to hate humans, but there's something about them. They don't just survive. They discover; they create. I mean, just look at what they do with food.

　　[Remy溜進了一個老婦人家，看到了電視上播放名廚Gusteau的專訪。]

　　Gusteau: [在電視上講話] How can I describe it? Good food is like music you can taste, color you can smell. There is excellence all around you. You need only be aware to stop and savor it.

　　Remy: Oh, Gusteau was right. [抓起桌上的水果和奶酪] Oh, mmm, yeah. Oh, amazing. Each flavor was totally unique. But combine one flavor with another, and something new was created. [GASPS ] So now I had a secret life....
