春運(yùn)客流增加疫情防控加強(qiáng)

Zhuo Li, vice-director of emergency response with the Ministry of Transport, said at a news conference on Wednesday that the Spring Festival holiday will lead to a surge in trips. "We estimate that during the 40-day travel rush — from Jan 17 to Feb 25 — trips will outnumber 2021, when 870 million trips were made, and may even be higher than in 2020, when 1.48 billion trips were made."

交通運(yùn)輸部應(yīng)急辦副主任卓立在12月29日的新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上介紹，全國(guó)春運(yùn)客運(yùn)量較2021年8.7億人次將會(huì)有較大幅度增長(zhǎng)，甚至將超過(guò)2020年的14.8億人次。2022年春運(yùn)將從1月17日開(kāi)始，至2月25日結(jié)束，共40天。

"We will ask vehicle operators to check travelers' health codes," Zhuo said, adding that the ministry will "strengthen efforts to crack down on illegal behavior on transportation and prevent travelers from being stranded due to inclement weather."
卓立表示，交通運(yùn)輸部將督促指導(dǎo)客運(yùn)經(jīng)營(yíng)者嚴(yán)格查驗(yàn)旅客健康碼，依法嚴(yán)厲查處道路旅客運(yùn)輸違規(guī)運(yùn)營(yíng)行為，堅(jiān)決杜絕出現(xiàn)極端惡劣天氣下旅客大面積滯留現(xiàn)象。

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism will continue to order the suspension of group tours to destinations with areas listed as having a medium or high risk of infection over the holidays.
