習(xí)近平：引領(lǐng)中美關(guān)系積極向前發(fā)展

President Xi Jinping on Tuesday called for developing a sound and steady China-US relationship during a virtual meeting with US President Joe Biden.

國家主席習(xí)近平11月16日同美國總統(tǒng)拜登舉行視頻會晤。習(xí)近平指出，兩國應(yīng)構(gòu)建健康穩(wěn)定的中美關(guān)系。

Xi said China and the United States should respect each other, coexist in peace and pursue win-win cooperation.

中美應(yīng)該相互尊重、和平共處、合作共贏。

Xi pointed out both China and the US are at critical stages of development, and the "global village" of humanity faces multiple challenges.

當(dāng)前，中美發(fā)展都處在關(guān)鍵階段，人類的"地球村"也面臨諸多挑戰(zhàn)。

As the world's two largest economies and permanent members of the UN Security Council, China and the US need to increase communication and cooperation, each run their domestic affairs well and, at the same time, shoulder their share of international responsibilities and work together to advance the noble cause of world peace and development, Xi said.

中美作為世界前兩大經(jīng)濟(jì)體和聯(lián)合國安理會常任理事國，應(yīng)該加強(qiáng)溝通和合作，既辦好我們各自國內(nèi)的事情，又承擔(dān)起應(yīng)盡的國際責(zé)任，共同推進(jìn)人類和平與發(fā)展的崇高事業(yè)。
