可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數(shù)據(jù)國(guó)際研究中心成立

China established an International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals in Beijing on Monday.

9月6日，可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數(shù)據(jù)國(guó)際研究中心在北京宣告成立。

It is the world's first international scientific research institution using big data to facilitate the implementation of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – a blueprint adopted by all UN member states in 2015 with 17 SDGs and 169 targets at the core for peace and prosperity.

這是全球首個(gè)以大數(shù)據(jù)服務(wù)聯(lián)合國(guó)2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程的國(guó)際科研機(jī)構(gòu)。2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程指的是，為推動(dòng)世界和平和繁榮，聯(lián)合國(guó)所有成員國(guó)于2015年共同通過(guò)的，包括17個(gè)可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標(biāo)和169項(xiàng)具體目標(biāo)的綱領(lǐng)性文件。

The center has five missions: to develop and build the platform, to monitor and evaluate the index of sustainable development, to develop and operate satellites related to sustainable development, to build a think tank promoting sustainable development and to provide training and education for developing countries.

中心的五大任務(wù)包括：研發(fā)和建設(shè)可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數(shù)據(jù)平臺(tái)、開(kāi)展可持續(xù)發(fā)展指標(biāo)監(jiān)測(cè)與評(píng)估科學(xué)研究、研制和運(yùn)行可持續(xù)發(fā)展科學(xué)衛(wèi)星、建設(shè)科技創(chuàng)新促進(jìn)可持續(xù)發(fā)展智庫(kù)、提供面向發(fā)展中國(guó)家的教育和培訓(xùn)。
