河南洪澇災(zāi)害已致302人遇難

The death toll from torrential rains in Central China's Henan province has risen to 302 as of Monday at noon, the information office of the provincial government said at a news briefing on Monday afternoon. Another 50 people remain missing, the office said. A total of 292 people were confirmed dead and 47 missing in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital.

河南省人民政府新聞辦公室8月2日下午舉行新聞發(fā)布會(huì)通報(bào)河南最新災(zāi)情。截至8月2日12時(shí)，此次特大洪澇災(zāi)害已致302人遇難，50人失蹤。省會(huì)鄭州市共有292人遇難，47人失蹤。

Of the victims in Zhengzhou, 189 were killed directly by floods and debris flow; 54 were killed in house collapses; 39 drowned in underground spaces such as the subway, the tunnel and garages; and 10 people died from other causes.

其中，洪水、泥石流導(dǎo)致189人遇難;房屋倒塌導(dǎo)致54人遇難;地下室、車庫(kù)、地下管廊管網(wǎng)等地下空間溺亡39人;另有其他遇難者10人。

The State Council, China's Cabinet, announced on Monday that it had set up an investigative team to look into the Zhengzhou flood and evaluate the disaster-response process, to draw lessons from it and to punish those responsible.

國(guó)務(wù)院8月2日宣布成立調(diào)查組，對(duì)河南鄭州"7•20"特大暴雨災(zāi)害進(jìn)行調(diào)查。調(diào)查組將對(duì)災(zāi)害應(yīng)對(duì)過(guò)程進(jìn)行調(diào)查評(píng)估，總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)，對(duì)存在失職瀆職的行為依法依規(guī)予以問(wèn)責(zé)追責(zé)。
