At least one person was killed and six others injured after a crane collapsed into an apartment building Sunday afternoon amid severe thunderstorms in Dallas, Texas, the United States, local authority said.

美國當(dāng)?shù)卣Q，周日下午，德克薩斯州達(dá)拉斯市遭遇雷暴天氣，一輛起重機翻倒撞進(jìn)了一棟公寓，造成至少一人死亡，六人受傷。

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said that rescue crew searching the downtown building found the body of one person inside an apartment after the crane crashed into the east side of the building.

達(dá)拉斯消防救援發(fā)言人埃文斯(Jason Evans)說，起重機撞到大樓東側(cè)后，救援人員在公寓內(nèi)發(fā)現(xiàn)了一具尸體。

Evans said the crane fell into the apartment building as strong winds, heavy rain and hail battered parts of North Texas.

The injured people were taken to local hospitals and their conditions were not immediately available.

Residents who were evacuated from the building gathered holding their pets and nothing else, according to local media Dallas Morning News. Others said their pets were still inside.

The US National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area until 7 p.m. Sunday, warning of heavy rain, damaging gusts, and large hail. It also issued a flood advisory for parts of the region until 5 p.m.

美國國家氣象局發(fā)布了達(dá)拉斯-沃斯堡地區(qū)的嚴(yán)重雷暴預(yù)警，到周日下午7點，將有大雨、破壞性大風(fēng)和大冰雹。同時到下午5點，該地部分地區(qū)還將有洪水風(fēng)險。
