西藏一縣政府日前發(fā)起了一項環(huán)?;顒?,2019年起將禁止非環(huán)保旅游車輛前往珠峰大本營。
Locals who live below the poverty line will be employed as tour guides and drivers of new electric golf-style buggies to and from the camp, China Tibet Online reported, citing a government official of Tingri county, Xigaze, Tibet autonomous region.
中國西藏網(wǎng)援引西藏自治區(qū)日喀則市定日縣政府的一名官員的話稱,新的高爾夫球車式電動車將往返于珠峰大本營,電動車司機和導(dǎo)覽員將由當(dāng)?shù)氐呢毨魜頁?dān)任。
"It will help reduce pollution in the area and raise the income of locals," Wang Qiong, deputy head of Tingri county, said.
定日縣副縣長旺瓊表示:“這既有助于減少該地區(qū)的污染又可以幫當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裨黾邮杖搿?rdquo;
"This area has a fragile environment and its natural conditions have limited processing capabilities of trash and sewage, which must be handled very carefully."
“這片區(qū)域的環(huán)境比較脆弱,自然條件對垃圾和污水的處理能力有限,必須慎重處理。”
More than 100,000 people, including 40,000 mountaineers and hikers, visited the Qomolangma Base Camp and the nearby area in 2017, the Xinhua News Agency reported in March.

Some 2.26 tons of human feces, one ton of mountaineering trash and 5.24 tons of household waste have been removed from the world's highest peak since April.

Electric buggies are used in scenic spots across China to reduce emissions, Zhang Shangzheng, dean of the tourism management department at Anhui University, told the Global Times.
安徽大學(xué)旅游管理系系主任章尚正向《環(huán)球時報》透露,中國各地的景點都在使用電動車輛來減少排放。
"If local government chooses charging piles to solve the power issue, such piles must be carefully installed at places that do not influence the water or damage the beautiful scenery," he said.
他表示:“如果當(dāng)?shù)卣x擇充電樁來解決電力問題,那么充電樁必須在不影響水資源、不破壞美麗風(fēng)景的地方小心安裝。”
