貴州梵凈山列入世界遺產(chǎn)名錄

Fanjing Mountain, situated in southwest China's Guizhou province, was inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage list at the 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee in Manama, capital of Bahrain, on July 2.

7月2日，在巴林首都麥納麥舉行的第42屆世界遺產(chǎn)大會(huì)上，中國(guó)西南部貴州省的梵凈山被聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織列入世界遺產(chǎn)名錄。

The mountain became China's 13th World Natural Heritage site, bringing the total number of World Heritage sites in the country to 53.

梵凈山成為中國(guó)的第13處世界自然遺產(chǎn)，這也使得中國(guó)世界遺產(chǎn)的數(shù)量增至53處。

Known as the No.1 mountain in Guizhou and the highest of the Wuling Mountain Range, Fanjing Mountain lies at the intersection of the three counties of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao in Tongren city.

梵凈山被譽(yù)為貴州第一山，系武陵山脈的最高峰，位于貴州省銅仁市下轄的江口、印江、松桃三縣交界處。

Its highest peak -- Mount Phoenix -- stands some 2,572 meters above sea level. The over 80-meter-high Larger Golden Peak at the top of the mountain offers a fantastic sight: a steep stone pillar supporting a huge square rock known as the "Pile of 10,000 Books".

它的最高峰鳳凰山海拔2572米。站在山頂80多米高的黃金山峰上，視線絕佳：陡峭的石柱支撐著巨大的方形巖石，被稱為“萬(wàn)卷書”。

The mountain is well-known for its magnificent natural landscape and subtropical ecologyfeaturing rare plants and wildlife. The mountain is home to 4,394 species of plants and 2,767 species of animals.

這座山以其壯麗的自然景觀和亞熱帶生態(tài)的珍稀動(dòng)植物而聞名，是4394種植物和2767種動(dòng)物的家園。

The most precious wildlife and plants species include the grey snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus brelichi) and the Abies fanjingshanensis.

最珍貴的野生動(dòng)植物物種包括黔金絲猴(仰鼻猿屬)和梵凈山冷杉。

In 1986, it was listed as one of the first national nature reserves in China and brought under the protection of UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Program.

梵凈山于1986年被列為首批國(guó)家級(jí)自然保護(hù)區(qū)之一，受到聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織“人與生物圈計(jì)劃”的保護(hù)。
