清華大學(xué)3D錄取通知書走紅網(wǎng)絡(luò)

A 3D-printed version of a 2nd gate at TsinghuaUniversity is now appearing on the school's 2018 admission letter.

現(xiàn)在，清華大學(xué)3D打印版的“二校門”出現(xiàn)在了該校2018年的錄取通知書上。

This art work, made by faculty and students atTsinghua, contains more than 30 components andover a hundred interlocking structures createdusing laser cutting technology.

這件工藝品由清華大學(xué)師生共同打造，包含了30多個部件和上百個通過激光雕刻技術(shù)制作的拼插結(jié)構(gòu)。

As the candidate opens the package, the sculpture pops out from the page.

報考者打開錄取通知書，3D二校門就會躍然紙上。

"To include a 3D sculpture of the Old Gate in the acceptance package," said the TsinghuaAdmission Office, "is to convey its elegance and solemnity throughout history, and also tocarry other meanings in the new era: inspiration and wisdom, youth and the future."

清華大學(xué)招生辦表示：“將3D二校門放在錄取通知書上既傳遞著歷史的端莊與厚重，也承載著新時代中的另一番意味：靈感與智慧、青春與未來。”

 

The university posted the acceptance letter on their official Weibo account, captioned "Whenyou cross the Old Gate in August, a new world will emerge in front of you, and a brand-newTsinghua awaits your discovery and creation."

清華大學(xué)將該錄取通知書貼在了其官方微博上，并寫道：“當(dāng)你在盛夏八月穿過這座'二校門'，一個全新的世界將在你面前徐徐鋪開，一個嶄新的清華將等待你探索與創(chuàng)造。”

The Old Gate, therefore, is no longer just a gate; but a turning point, a milestone, and thebeginning of adult life for these new undergraduates.

因此，二校門不再僅僅是一扇門;還是一個轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn)，一座里程碑，也是這些大學(xué)新生的成年生活的開始。

The post quickly went viral, one netizen commenting "I am losing my mind. I want it."
