英文辭職信范文怎么寫?

  英文中 “to quit one’s job” 是辭職比較口語化的表達方式,而 “to resign”是比較正規(guī)的表達方式。遞交 辭職信則為“to tender one’s resignation”。導致辭職的原因因人而異:有的人舉家遷移(relocation)不得已換工作,有的人是因為健康、 年齡或家庭因素,有的人是另謀高職,有的人是與同事或上級發(fā)生矛盾, 有的人是迫于工作壓力。但不管怎樣,作為辭職人你應(yīng)本著好聚好散、心平氣和的精神書寫辭職信, 提一下公司給你帶來的好處,表達一番感激之情。為了發(fā)泄自己憤憤不平之情緒的辭職信 (negative resignation letter) 可能會帶來意想不到的麻煩, 尤其是當你的新雇主到你的原單位進行調(diào)查或?qū)懶沤o你原雇主索取推薦信時,麻煩就更大了。當今社會辭職數(shù)年后又想回原單位工作的事兒是常有的, 所以寫辭職信還得為以后留條后路。

  Although I have enjoyed watching the Advertising Department grow from its humble beginnings4 to the current formidable5 size and influence in Wuhan, I have received an offer for another company that I feel is better suited6 to my career objectives.

  例句:"Prior to this acting career he was a salesperson in Guangdong." 當"prior"單獨使用時,它作為形容詞,意思是"earlier in time" or "previous,"

  例句:"I have a prior commitment that prevents me from attending the meeting."

  3. transition process -移交過程in Zhang Xiao Hua's case, the transition process may involve one or all of the following: a.) handing over his documents and files, b.) working until the company finds his replacement, and, c.) showing the ropes to the new person

  4. humble beginnings -創(chuàng)業(yè)之初,低微的不起眼的狀況 low-ranking, undistinguished and poor status

  例句:"The chief financial officer began in a very humble job as a restaurant waiter."

  5. formidable (adj)- 巨大的awesome; impressive; overwhelming

  例句: "The Three Gorges project is quite formidable as it involves millions of people."

  6. suited (v + ed used as adj)- 適合的in accordance with; agreeable; appropriate; "suit also a verb, as in "This position suits with his abilities."

  常用表達方式

  1. Effective September16*, I will be terminating my employment with ABC Company.

  "effective" 即 being in effect or operative

  例句:"The summer day light saving time is effective May 30."

  9月16日,我將結(jié)束與ABC公司的雇傭關(guān)系(我將從ABC公司辭職)。

  2. I write to tender * my resignation from office. My last day of employment will be June 16.

  "tender" 動詞, 即"to offer" 或 "to present for acceptance"

  寫此信的目的是提請辭職。6月16日是我上班最后一天。

  3. After much deliberation*, I have decided to move out of the private sector and go back to college.

  "deliberation"即 careful consideration 或 a debate within oneself or by a group of people for or against a measure

  例句:" The managers could not be hurried in their deliberation."

  4. I regret having to leave a situation * where I have received so much kindness and made so many friends.

  "situation" 指的是 "place of employment"

  "rewarding" 即satisfying

  "appointment" 和 "situation"一字相仿 , 代表 a place of employment 或 a job之意

  "function"即 operate 或 carry on one's duty; "headquarters" 總是以復數(shù)形式出現(xiàn), 代表 the administrative center of an enterprise 之意

  我已經(jīng)下了結(jié)論,當總部執(zhí)行的政策無法為我這位地區(qū)經(jīng)理提供必要的支持,我將無法有效地勝任這個職位。

  9. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make my departure a smooth one *.

  "one" 是代詞, 指代前面的名詞 " departure"; 它有時也可指代后面的名詞 , 如: "The basketball players who score the most are not always the ones with the best brains."

  我離職之前如何做好銜接工作,請告知。

  10. If I can be of assistance in recommending potential replacement * for my position, I would be more than happy* to help.

  "replacement" 即 one that replaces another in a job or function;

  "more than happy" 即"very happy"

  "staff"指的是 group of workers who carry on a job or do the work of a company

  12. I have thoroughly enjoyed time at this company and regret having to abandon my work.

  "abandon" 即 leave completely and for ever

  我很喜歡在這個公司里度過的時光,也很遺憾不得不放棄這份工作。
