日本Naruko峽谷:世界上最美麗的秋天
Naruko Gorge is one of the most beautiful gorges in the Tohoku region. It is located in the northwestern part of Miyagi prefecture, Japan, about 70km from Sendai and only 2km from the small hot spring town of Naruko Onsen. The gorge stretches for about 2.5km in the East-West direction, with steep cliffs up to 100m high.
The best area to view the autumn foliage here is around the Narukokyo inn towards the western end of the gorge. You can go to enjoy the famous view of Ofukazawa Bridge, too. There are several free and paid parking areas along the main road near the Narukokyo Hostel. A few steep paths lead from the path to the gorge bottom, where the spectacular Naruko Gorge walking trail runs along the length of the ravine.

In 2008, an earthquake resulted in the closure of most of the roads here and today only a few of its short sections are open to tourists between 9 AM and 4 PM. If you want to visit this gorge in Japan, it should be noted that the trail will be closed during bad weather conditions. So choose the right time to explore this unique place.
