指示代詞是用來指代或標(biāo)記人或事物的代詞，包括this(這個(gè))，that(那個(gè))，these(這些)，those(那些)。
1．指示代詞有單數(shù)（this ，that ）和復(fù)數(shù)（these ，those ）兩種形式。在意義上，this ，these 表示近指；that ，those 表示遠(yuǎn)指。
I want this book, not that one. 我想要這本書，不是那本。
2．this ，that 用來代替剛提到過的人、物，或剛發(fā)生的事情。
I didn't finish homework. This made my mother angry. 我沒有完成作業(yè)，這讓媽媽很生氣。
3．this ，that 還可以指在電話中交談的雙方。
Hello, this is Susan. Who is that speaking? 你好，我是蘇珊。你是哪位？
4．指示代詞在句中作主語、賓語和定語。
a. This is a chair. 這是一把椅子。
b. I like that . 我喜歡那個(gè)。
c. These flowers look beautiful. 這些花看起來很漂亮。
5．在含有指示代詞的疑問句中，回答要用it和they代替。
What's this /that ? It 's a skirt. 這／那是什么？這／那是一條裙子。
What are these /those ? They are pears. 這些／那些是什么？這些／那些是梨。
this, these靠近我，that, those遠(yuǎn)離我。
this, that指單數(shù)，these, those指復(fù)數(shù)。
都可用the來代替，請你一定記心里。
