The number of people died from the Covid-19 disease in Italy's worst affected region Lombardy has increased by more than 100 in one day. Nationally, the total has reached 366. Wide-scale restrictions are in force in the north and the east to try to contain the outbreak. The measure, which restrict prison visits has sparked revokes and protests in at least four jails across Italy. The government is ordering 22 million masks to help stop the spread of the virus.
