Lord: it is time. The summer was immense

主啊，是時(shí)候了。盛大的夏天已過去

Lay your long shadows on the sundials

將你修長的影子落在日晷之上

And on the meadows let the winds go free

讓風(fēng)兒在牧場上自由漂蕩

Command the last fruits to be full

下令讓最后的果子汁液飽滿

Give them just two more southern days

再寬限它們兩日南方的溫暖

Urge them on to completion and chase the last sweetness into the heavy wine

催促它們早些成熟，好將那最后一股甜蜜釀入濃烈的酒

Who has no house now, will never build one

誰此時(shí)沒有房子，就不必建造

Who is alone now, will long remain so

誰在此刻孤獨(dú)，就永生孤獨(dú)

Will stay awake, read, write long letters

就醒著，讀書，寫長長的信

And will wander restlessly up and down the tree-lined streets, when the leaves are drifting
