In tough country like this, you'll never win every battle. 在這種艱苦的地方 不可能屢戰(zhàn)屢勝

There's no shame in making another plan and searching out an alternative route down. 換個(gè)計(jì)劃 另辟蹊徑 并不丟臉

Look, there's a mad old cave here.Goes all the way in there. 瞧 有個(gè)夠嗆的老巖洞 想辦法進(jìn)去

See, it's more than likely gonna be aboriginal, this. 瞧 肯定是土著干的 這玩意兒

See all the soot right here on the ceiling from the fires? 看到巖頂這些煙熏的痕跡了嗎

It's gonna be a good place, though, just to shelter from the heat of the day,get out of the sun a bit. 不過這地方不錯(cuò) 可以用來躲躲烈日 在炙熱的白天休憩一下

Generations of aboriginal hunters going back to the stone age 一代代土著狩獵人回到石器時(shí)代

have left a record of their prey on thousands of sites across Arnhem Land. 在整個(gè)阿納姆地處處留痕 標(biāo)記下了幾千處捕獵地點(diǎn)

There's cave art here.Looks like a fish,a barramundi.Sort of like a turtle there. 有幅巖畫 看起來像條魚 澳大利亞肺魚 那個(gè)像只烏龜

This is what the aboriginals would do paint their prey onto walls like this and caves. 土著人是這么干的 他們把獵物畫到像這樣的墻上和巖洞里

Believed if they then rubbed it,would encourage the prey to multiply when they next passed through. Just amazing. 相信畫完以后再上去蹭蹭 下次來到這里的時(shí)候 獵物就會(huì)增多 不可思議

Some of this stuff could be up to 40,000 years old. 有的巖畫可能有4萬年的歷史
