A man asked his doctor, "Doc, my wife has lost her voice. How can I help her get it back?"

The doctor replied, " Try coming home at four in the morning!"

一個(gè)男人問他的醫(yī)生：“醫(yī)生，我妻子失聲了。”

2. How can I help her get it back?

我要怎么幫她恢復(fù)呢?

"get..back"是“使…回到原來(lái)狀態(tài)”的意思，也可以指“送某人回某處”，如：He got her back holeL他送她回飯店。

3. The doctor replied, " Try coming home at four in the morning!"

醫(yī)生回答說：“試試看，在凌晨4點(diǎn)回家!”

"try + to + v."，表示“試著努力去完成某件亊情";而"try + v.-ing"，表示“試著去做某件事”，沒有努力的意思，只是純粹試試看。

這真是個(gè)好辦法，因?yàn)樵谀欠N情況下，妻子的潛能被激發(fā)了，想必這個(gè)醫(yī)生也有過相同的經(jīng)歷，曾經(jīng)因凌晨回家而被妻子怒斥。
