558　problem和question

◎ problem和question都表示“問(wèn)題”。

① problem指客觀存在的亟待解決的問(wèn)題，尤其指那些難度大的或棘手的問(wèn)題。搭配為：think about/raise/solve/settle/discuss/do/work out/a/the problem。

② question常指由于不能斷定或疑惑不解而提出的問(wèn)題，等待回答，通常指一般問(wèn)題或易解決的問(wèn)題。搭配有：

ask sb. a question 問(wèn)某人一個(gè)問(wèn)題

put a question to sb. 向某人提一個(gè)問(wèn)題

answer the question 回答問(wèn)題

There is no question about+名詞或動(dòng)名詞

without question 毫無(wú)問(wèn)題

beyond question 毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)

out of question 完全可能的，毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)的

out of the question不可能的

③ question還可用作及物動(dòng)詞，意為“詢問(wèn)，對(duì)……提出疑問(wèn)”。

He never questioned her about her difficulties. 他從不詢問(wèn)她的困難。

The teacher questioned her on the story she had just read. 老師就她剛讀過(guò)的故事提問(wèn)。

We don't question his ability. 我們不懷疑他的能力。
