325　half the month還是the half month

① 表示“一半”，要說(shuō)half of the/a…?！癶alf the/a month”為“half of the/a month”的省略形式。當(dāng)half作形容詞用時(shí)，冠詞應(yīng)放在half與名詞之間。如：

half the year 半年

half the time 一半時(shí)間

half the eggs 一半雞蛋

half an hour 半小時(shí)

half a day 半天

half a mile 半里路

half a glass of beer 半杯啤酒

② 但是，“半年”也可說(shuō)成six months，“半個(gè)月”也可說(shuō)成fifteen days或two weeks，“半個(gè)小時(shí)”可以說(shuō)成thirty minutes，“一個(gè)半小時(shí)”可以說(shuō)成an hour and a half或one and a half hours，“兩個(gè)半小時(shí)”則是two hours and a half或two and a half hours。

half后的介詞of?？墒÷?，但名詞前的不定冠詞（a，an）或所有格（his，our…）不可省。

He drank half glass of milk.

He drank half（of）a glass of milk.

他喝了半杯牛奶。

Half（of）his money was stolen. 他一半的錢被人偷走了。
