“低碳經(jīng)濟(jì)”是一個(gè)具有廣泛社會(huì)性的經(jīng)濟(jì)前沿理念，最早是在2003年英國(guó)政府發(fā)布的能源白皮書《我們能源的未來(lái)：創(chuàng)建低碳經(jīng)濟(jì)》正式提出的。低碳經(jīng)濟(jì)包括低碳發(fā)展、低碳產(chǎn)業(yè)、低碳技術(shù)和低碳生活等經(jīng)濟(jì)形態(tài)，是指在不影響經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的前提下，通過(guò)技術(shù)創(chuàng)新和制度創(chuàng)新，降低能源和資源消耗，盡可能最大限度地減少溫室氣體和污染物的排放，實(shí)現(xiàn)減緩氣候變化的目標(biāo)，促進(jìn)人類的可持續(xù)發(fā)展。

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. The polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

近年來(lái)環(huán)境保護(hù)仍然有許多問題。最嚴(yán)重的問題之一是嚴(yán)重的空氣、水和土壤污染。被污染的空氣對(duì)人體健康危害很大。污染的水會(huì)引起疾病和死亡。更重要的是，隨著現(xiàn)代城市的快速增長(zhǎng)植被已大大減少了。

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.

為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，各國(guó)政府做了很多努力。立法措施已經(jīng)被用來(lái)控制空氣污染，保護(hù)森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何的環(huán)境污染。因此，在當(dāng)今的環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用。

In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

在我看來(lái)，為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，政府必須采取更具體的措施。首先，它應(yīng)該讓人們充分認(rèn)識(shí)到通過(guò)教育意識(shí)到環(huán)境保護(hù)的重要性。第二，應(yīng)該付出更多的努力把計(jì)劃生育政策付諸實(shí)施，因?yàn)槿丝谠蕉嗑鸵馕吨廴驹蕉?。最后，那些故意破壞環(huán)境的人應(yīng)該受到嚴(yán)懲。我們應(yīng)該讓他們知道破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自己。

With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Because of population expansion and over development, resources has become less and less. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.

隨著工農(nóng)業(yè)的發(fā)展，汽車帶來(lái)噪音、排放毒氣。由于人口的增長(zhǎng)和過(guò)度發(fā)展，資源變得越來(lái)越少。山上的樹木被砍伐，污水不斷被排入河流。整個(gè)地球的生態(tài)平衡正在改變。環(huán)境的巨大破壞已帶來(lái)負(fù)面影響，甚至對(duì)人類生存帶來(lái)巨大的威脅。

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

One day Sun Wukong together with his master and brothers was walking across a river. Suddenly his master fell off the horse by the bad smell of river water. They found the water so dirty that they could hardly breathe.
