不知道你們有沒有過這種經(jīng)歷-當你不小心聽到別人議論你時，卻被對方發(fā)現(xiàn)。但其實更讓人尬的是，你用自以為別人聽不懂的方言/語言大聲評價對方，卻極其反轉(zhuǎn)的發(fā)現(xiàn)，被你議論的那個人也掌握了這種方言/語言。呵呵，這種感覺真是酸爽。

I'm Swiss and Peruvian and I live in Peru, so I don't look at all like a Swiss guy. There were two Swiss girls sitting behind me on a bus talking about Latino guys. Then one of them asked the other if she found me attractive. I turned around and said that I would love to know that too. The look of confusion and shame was priceless. Then we just all laughed. Now I've got two new friends!

An ego boost

I was at a hotel bar in NY and a Russian couple were sitting a few chairs down from me talking about what they should do for the evening. So I suggested that they go to Rockefeller center to see the tree (it was a couple days before Christmas) and try and find some carolers/Christmas music performances to listen to.

我當時在紐約的一家旅館酒吧，一對俄羅斯夫婦坐在我旁邊，聊著晚上該怎么辦。所以我建議他們?nèi)ヂ蹇朔评罩行目词フQ樹（那是圣誕節(jié)前幾天），試著找些圣誕頌歌/圣誕音樂表演來聽。

They were shocked an American could speak Russian and they were super pleasant people. They bought me a drink and talked about their impressions of NY for 20 minutes or so before they went out for the night. I was able to give them some advice and they gave me an ego boost by complimenting my Russian.

他們對美國人會說俄語感到震驚，而且他們?nèi)顺?，請我喝了一杯，和我聊?0分鐘左右他們對紐約的印象后就出去了。我能給他們一些建議，而他們稱贊我的俄語更是讓我信心滿滿。
