英漢類同成語(yǔ)的翻譯

有相當(dāng)一部分英語(yǔ)成語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)里的成語(yǔ)或詞組相通，其用法和表達(dá)方式幾乎完全一樣，可以逐詞對(duì)譯出來(lái);這類成語(yǔ)比較容易為我們所接受，特別適合于初涉英語(yǔ)成語(yǔ)的同志學(xué)習(xí)，我們搜集整理了一部分。

(1)bad egg壞蛋，歹徒。

Trust him nothing;he is a bad egg。別信他，他是個(gè)壞蛋。

(2)crocodile tears鱷魚(yú)的眼淚，假慈悲。

Don't weep crocodile tears with his misfortune. I know you have always

detested him and are only too happy to see him get into trouble。別假惺惺地為他的不幸難過(guò)了，我知道你一直討厭他，看到他倒霉，心里可高興哩!

(3)cry wolf呼喊“狼來(lái)了”，發(fā)假情報(bào)。
