　　1.在英國(guó)搭乘火車

　　Peter: Good morning. Could you tell me the times of trains to London, please?

　　彼得：早安。請(qǐng)告訴我去倫敦的火車發(fā)車時(shí)間好嗎?

　　Booking clerk: Yes. There are trains at 7:59,9:18, and 10:32.

　　售票員：好的。7點(diǎn)59分、9點(diǎn)18分和10點(diǎn)32分各有一班。

　　Peter: What time does the 7:59 train get to London?

　　彼得：7點(diǎn)59分的火車幾點(diǎn)到達(dá)倫敦?

　　Booking clerk: At 9:36.

　　售票員：9點(diǎn)36分。

　　Peter: What about coming back? I'd like to come back at about 7 p. m.

　　彼得：回程的時(shí)間呢?我想在晚上7點(diǎn)左右回來。

　　Booking clerk: There's one at 7:10 p. m. and the next one is at 7:40 p. m.

　　售票員：晚上7點(diǎn)10分有一班，再下一班是7點(diǎn)40分。

　　Peter: Mmm, how much is a return ticket?

　　彼得：喔，回來票多少錢?

　　Booking clerk: If you get on before 4 p. m. or after 6 p. m. ,there is a saver return which is 9 pounds. An ordinary return is 16 pounds.

　　售票員：如果您在下午4點(diǎn)之前或6點(diǎn)之后上車，有優(yōu)惠票價(jià)9英鎊的當(dāng)天來回票。普通來回票要16英鎊。

　　Peter: An ordinary return, please

　　彼得：請(qǐng)給我普通來回票。

　　2 Travaling by train in America

　　2.在美國(guó)搭乘火車

　　Adam: What time does the train for Boston leave?

　　亞當(dāng)：去波士頓的火車什么時(shí)候開?

　　Booking clerk: 9:25 on Platform 12, Track B.

　　售票員：9點(diǎn)25分，在12號(hào)站臺(tái)，B軌道。

　　Adam: When does it arrive?

　　亞當(dāng)：什么時(shí)候抵達(dá)波士頓?

　　Booking clerk: It should be there at 11:45, but it may be a little late.

　　售票員：應(yīng)該是11點(diǎn)45分到，不過有時(shí)候會(huì)誤點(diǎn)。

　　Adam: How much is a one-way ticket?

　　亞當(dāng)：?jiǎn)纬唐币粡埗嗌馘X?

　　Booking clerk: It's $32.00.

　　售票員：32美元。
