[正] Yesterday afternoon our president received several foreign vistitors in the reception room on the second floor of the Administration Building.

注：parlor 在美國英語里指私人家里的客廳，也指旅館里的休息室等房間，但現(xiàn)在已少用。在美國，也用于某些商業(yè)性的營業(yè)室，如 ice-cream parlo冷飲室，hairdresser\'s parlor，beauty parlor美容室。學校以及其它公共機關里的接待室(或會客室)，一般用 reception room。
