第十三章 副詞 副詞的分類(2)

　　1.程度副詞：常見的有much, (a)little, a bit, very, so, too, enough, quite, rather, pretty, fairly, extremely, considerably, entirely, greatly, completely, awfully, terribly, definitely, perfectly, amazingly, deeply, immensely, barely, almost, hardly, scarcely, partly, half, slightly, not at all等。這類副詞多數(shù)都用來修飾形容詞(a)或副詞(b)：

　　a.His pronunciation is very (quite，rather，pretty，fairly) good.

　　他的發(fā)音非常好。

　　He has been extremely (awfully，terribly) busy these days.

　　他最近特別的忙。

　　b.She sings quite (pretty，extremely，not at a11) well.

　　他唱歌唱得很好。

　　He works terribly (awfully，quite，very) hard.

　　有些可修飾動(dòng)詞：

　　Thank you very much.

　　非常謝謝你。

　　I can hardly agree with you.

　　我不同意你的意思。

　　2.疑問副詞：常見的有how，where，when，why等，都用來引起特殊問句：

　　How are you doing at school?

　　你在學(xué)校情況怎樣?

　　Where shall we stay for the night?

　　今晚我們在哪兒過夜?

　　When shall we meet again?

　　我們什么時(shí)候再見面?

　　Why are you so worried?

　　你為什么這樣發(fā)愁?

　　how還可與許多其他詞一起用，如：

　　How long have you been there?

　　你在那里待了多久?

　　How soon is she coming back?

　　她多久能回來?

　　How often do you meet?

　　你們多久見一次面?

　　3.連接副詞：疑問副詞可用來引起從句，這時(shí)稱為連接副詞。在句中可引起：

　　1)主語從句：

　　When she'll be back depends on the weather.

　　她什么時(shí)候回來得看天氣。

　　It was a mystery how she got well so soon.

　　她如何痊愈得這樣快是一個(gè)謎。

　　2)賓語從句：

　　They didn't say where they were to stay.

　　他們沒說要在哪里住。

　　Nobody can tell why he refused to come.

　　沒人知道他為什么拒絕來。

　　3)表詞從句：

　　That was how they overcame the difficulty.

　　他們就是這樣克服困難的。

　　That's why I don't agree with you.

　　因此我不能同意你的意見。
