My education really prepared me for my career in this field.

我所受的教育以及讓我做好了進入這個領域工作的準備。

Unlike universities where the first two years are spent on general education,

我們不像一般的大學，最初的兩年要上普通課程，

we got into hands-on practical courses right away.

我們學校一開始就安排了許多實務課程。

We were in the computer lab on our first day at school and there was no class in which we didn't use a computer.

從上課的第一天開始，就在計算機教室上課，而且每堂課都會用到計算機。

Since I have such solid computer knowledge and experience,I feel comfortable with any new program.

我在計算機方面具備了非常扎實的知識和經(jīng)驗，所以，對于任何新程序，我都能得心應手。

很多人認為主修文學等人文學科，會不利于就業(yè)。其實，筆者認為主修文科或理科，對就業(yè)前景的影響不是決定性的。大學畢竟只是學習基礎知識的地方，實務方面的知識和經(jīng)驗還是要在工作中獲得。只有在應聘者經(jīng)驗不足時，招聘者才會著重考查其專業(yè)。一旦積累了一定程度的實踐經(jīng)驗，受重視的則是資歷。
