[00:07.70]Lesson 4
[00:09.42]First Impressions
[00:11.25]The day that I met my best friend
[00:12.95]for the first time I was in a terrible mood.
[00:16.42]I was trying to study
[00:17.45]for an important science exam
[00:19.21]in the local library,
[00:20.76]and people kept disturbing me.
[00:23.56]I was getting more and more annoyed
[00:25.74]and of course,the more displeased I got,
[00:28.40]the less I was able to concentrate.
[00:32.04]The last straw was
[00:33.01]when I heard someone huming behind me.
[00:36.58]The huming was so loud
[00:37.96]that I could even recognize the song!
[00:41.68]I truned around and glared at the person
[00:43.50]who was huming.
[00:45.63]It was a tall girl about the same age as me,
[00:48.36]and she had a big smile on her face.
[00:51.56]she was standing with a book in her hands
[00:53.72]near the poetry section.
[00:56.27]She looked as if she was very interested
[00:57.99]in what she was reading,
[00:59.68]and out of interest I glanced
[01:01.32]at the book's cover.
[01:03.28]It was a bolume of Tennyson's poems.
[01:07.13]The fact that she looked like a sensitive,
[01:09.12]friendly girl didn't wipe the frown
[01:11.30]off my face however,
[01:13.23]if anything,it made me even angrier.
[01:16.88]"How could she be so inconsiderate?"
[01:19.14]I thought angrily.
[01:19.14]
