marriage的用法與搭配

1. 若指泛指或抽象意義的婚姻，通常為不可數(shù)名詞。如：

Don’t rush into marriage. 不要匆忙結(jié)婚。

Marriage is a lifelong business. 婚姻是終身大事。

Marriage has really changed her. 婚姻確實使她改變了。

若指某次婚煙、某段婚姻、不同人的婚姻等，則為可數(shù)名詞。如：

It’s surprising how many unhappy marriages there are. 多少婚姻不美滿，真令人吃驚。

It was an unequal marriage, although a stable and long-lasting one. 盡管這項婚姻并不平等，卻很穩(wěn)定持久。

2. 表示與某人結(jié)婚，可用介詞 to或 with。一般說來，強調(diào)動作時多用 to，強調(diào)狀態(tài)時多用 with。如：

Her marriage to Philip didn’t last long. 她和菲利普結(jié)婚沒多久就吹了。

My marriage with Mary is a happy one. 我與瑪麗的婚姻生活很幸福。

以下同義表達大致同義，均表示 A 與 B 的結(jié)婚：
