Lesson 3 Please send me a card

課文內容：

Postcards always spoil my holidays. Lastsummer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and satin public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a fewwords of Italian. Then he lent me a book. I read afew lines, but I did not understand a word.Everyday I thought about postcards. Myholidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends. On the last day I madea big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in myroom, but I did not write a single card!

精講筆記：

7.Everyday I thought about postcards.

假期里的每一天，我都在考慮明信片的事。

語言點 think about考慮，think為不及物動詞，后不可直接加賓語。

用法：think of/about sth.=concern/consider sth.考慮某事，記著某事

We are thinking of learning New Concept English Book Three.

We concern about learning New Concept English Book Three.

8.My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends.

我的假期過的飛快，但是我并沒有給我的朋友們寄明信片。

語言點 Time passed quickly/slowly.時間過得真快/慢!

How time fles!(口語)光陰似箭!

time after time(=again and again)一次又一次地

9.On the last day I made a big decision.

在最后一天我作出了一項重大的決定。

語言點1 "on the last+時間名詞"表示具體的時間點，意為“最后的……”

last的兩個常用的意思：

1)上一個：last summer上個夏天;last year去年;last week上周

2)最后的(=final):I'm the last one.我是最后一個。

語言點2 make a big decision作出一項重大決定(decide為名詞)

decide to do sth.決定去做某事(decide為動詞)

make up one's mind下定決心(動詞短語)
