Wedding Anniversary

Pat： Why do you want to dine out with me today? Anything special to celebrate?

Jim： Honey, you really forgot about it? Think it over. It's a candlelight dinner.

Pat： It's not your birthday, also not mine. Hey, come on. Just tell me.

Jim： It's our wedding anniversary , honey. How can you forget it?

Pat： My dear, tomorrow is our wedding anniversary. We've been together for 20 years. But you never change. Always so careless! Do you remember the thing that happened on our wedding day?

Jim： Of course. I almost missed my own wedding.

Pat： Do you remember our first date? You sent a really special gift to me .

Jim： I can never forget that. I bought you five candies. You didn't get them until we parted. Then they had already melted down for I held them the whole time.

Pat： Yeah, it's really unforgettable. Thank you for making me happy all these years.

Jim： You are the one I should thank. I'm grateful for everything

Pat： Let's stop saying these things. It's a wrong time but let's do the right thing.

Jim： Oh, I almost forgot. This is for you. Like it?

Pat： Oh, a pearl necklace! So beautiful. Can you help me to put it on?

Jim： Any time. You look gorgeous, honey!

Pat： Thank you so much. I'm so happy today. Here is yours, a crystal stickpin. Now let's cheer to our China Wedding .

雪莉： 為什么你今天想外出就餐呀？有什么特殊事情要慶祝嗎？

本杰明： 親愛的，你真忘了今天是什么日子了嗎？好好想想。這可是燭光晚餐啊。

雪莉： 不是你的生日，也不是我的。拜托。你就告訴我吧。

本杰明： 這是我們的結(jié)婚紀(jì)念日啊，親愛的。你怎么能把它給忘了呢？

雪莉： 親愛的，明天才是我們的結(jié)婚紀(jì)念日啊。我們都在一起20年了。你還是沒有變，總是那么粗心。還記得我們結(jié)婚那天發(fā)生的事情嗎？

本杰明： 當(dāng)然記得。我差點錯過了自己的婚禮。

雪莉： 你記得我們的第一次約會嗎？你給了我一個特殊的禮物。

本杰明： 我永遠(yuǎn)都不會忘記的。我給你買了五顆糖果。一直到我們要說再見的時候你才拿到了它們。那時候它們都已經(jīng)化了，因為我一直握著它們。

雪莉： 是啊，那可真是難忘啊。謝謝你這些年來讓我過得那么幸福。

本杰明： 我才應(yīng)該謝謝你呢。我感謝你所做的一切。

雪莉： 我們別說這些了。時間雖然錯了，但是我們就做點對的事情吧。

本杰明： 哦，我差點忘了。這是給你的。喜歡嗎？

雪莉： 哦，一條珍珠項鏈。好漂亮啊！你能幫我戴上嗎？

本杰明： 樂意效勞。親愛的，你看起來漂亮極了。

雪莉： 謝謝。我今天真開心。這是你的禮物——水晶領(lǐng)帶夾?，F(xiàn)在讓我們?yōu)槲覀兊奶麓苫閼c祝吧。
