Diet Buddies
Patty: Incredibly,Eddie.Are you having a salad for lunch?No meat?No hamburger or hot dog?
Eddie: I have to get used to it,Patty.I'm off burgers and hot dog for good.Most fast food is loaded with sodium and oil .
Patty: I know.But why are you suddenly interested in your healthy diet ?
Eddie: My doctor says I should cut back on sodium–rich and oil-rich foods to lower my blood pressure.
Patty: Do you have heart attack or hypertension ?I would have thought you were too young for that.
Eddie: Actually,I don't have.But they say the risk increases with age.
Patty: Well,I'm so glad you're paying more attention to your diet,I could lose a few pounds,too.Except three meals,I have decided to give up snack and dessert .
Eddie: Great,maybe we can be “diet buddies”.You know,we can keep an eye on each other.
Patty: Ha-ha,that's funny.

芭迪: 很高興你開始關(guān)注你的飲食了。我也開始減肥,除了三餐外,我決定戒掉小吃和甜點。
艾迪: 太好了,讓我們組成小組,互相監(jiān)督吧。
