https://image.tingclass.net/statics/js/2012
動(dòng)詞 “hear” 和 “listen” 都可以描述 “聽” 這個(gè)動(dòng)作,但它們的用法卻不同,所以不能互換使用。哪個(gè)詞可以表達(dá) “聽音樂” 的 “聽”?哪個(gè)詞的意思是 “聽到聲音”?
Hi! I'm Roy, and today I'm going to tell you the difference between two words that are often confused: hear and listen.
Hear is the verb we use to talk about the ability. It doesn't mean that we want to hear something. It's about sounds coming to our ears.
I can hear the air conditioning. It doesn't mean that I want to hear it, but I can.
The verb listen is often followed by the preposition 'to'. We use this verb when we're paying attention or focusing on sounds.
I hope you're listening to me. That means I hope you're paying attention.
Compare these two sentences:
I can hear some music (somewhere).
I am listening to some music. I'm listening to a song that I want to listen to.
Anyway, I've got to go. I can hear my boss calling me.
用法總結(jié)
1. 動(dòng)詞 “hear” 描述的是 “可以聽到” 的能力,表示聲音進(jìn)入耳朵是無意識的動(dòng)作,與這個(gè)人的意愿無關(guān)。
I can hear the air conditioning.
I can hear my boss calling me.
He heard something and woke up.
2. 動(dòng)詞 “listen” 強(qiáng)調(diào)有意識的 “去聽,注意聽”,或 “傾聽”,后常接介詞 “to”。
I hope you're listening to me.
Listen! Who's there?
You should listen to your parents.
3. 對比下面兩個(gè)句子,記憶 “hear” 和 “listen” 的含義和用法。
I can hear some music. (我能聽見有音樂聲)
I am listening to some music. (我在聽我想聽的音樂)
