A young secretary was leaving the office on her lunchbreak when she found the CEO (Chief ExecutiveOfficer) standing in front of a shredder with a piece ofpaper in hand.
午飯時(shí)間,一個(gè)年輕的秘書正要離開辦公室。這時(shí),她看見首席執(zhí)行官拿著一張紙站在碎紙機(jī)前。
She walked up to him and asked if he need help.
她走上前去問(wèn)他是否需要幫助。
"Listen," said the CEO, "this is important. Can you make this thing work?"
“聽著,”首席執(zhí)行官說(shuō),“這很重要。你能告訴我這東西怎么用嗎?”
"Certainly," said the young secretary.
“當(dāng)然,”秘書說(shuō)。
She turned the machine on, inserted the paper, and pressed the start button.
她打開機(jī)器,把紙塞進(jìn)去,然后按下“開始”按鈕。
"Excellent, excellent!" said the CEO as the paper disappeared inside the machine. "Thanks, I justneed one copy."
“太好了,太好了!”首席執(zhí)行官看著自己那張紙消失在機(jī)器中,說(shuō):“謝謝你,我只要復(fù)印一份。”
