A trial (noun) A test 測(cè)試

如：We’re having a trial tomorrow and if it’s ok we’ll go ahead

我們明天測(cè)試一下，如果可以的話，就繼續(xù)弄

A salary (noun) Money earned from working 工資

如：Her salary is low, she’s never got any money

她的工資很低，沒(méi)什么錢。

Experience (noun) Knowledge gained from observing or directly undergoing something 經(jīng)驗(yàn)

如：I have got a lot of experience in looking after children because I’ve got seven younger sisters!

我在照看小孩方面有很多經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我有7個(gè)妹妹。

A stage (noun) A single step in a process 階段

如：The first stage of the game is easy then the next stages get gradually more difficult

游戲的第一關(guān)很簡(jiǎn)單，越到后面越難。

Intrusive (adjective) Coming without an invitation 闖入

如：My sister is intrusive. She comes into my room without knocking

我妹妹沒(méi)敲門就直接闖進(jìn)來(lái)了。

To mention (verb) To refer briefly to something 提到

如：Don’t mention her new glasses! She hates them

不要說(shuō)她的新眼鏡了，她不喜歡。
